Melissa Schneider offered a 30 day show to well known Savannah NBC TV station WTOC anchor, Mike Manhatton, longtime photographer, at her Savannah Gallery after seeing what a remarkable body of work he has accumulated over the years in Savannah and elsewhere. She staged this Opening Reception party for him and these photographs by a local photographer show how well this event was attended, especially by Mike's WTOC friends and on-air comrades, like Jody Chapin, Don, Logana, John Wetherbee, Pat Prokop, Ron Wallace, and others. The soft jazz guitarist Melissa hired added a special touch that perfectly rounded out the event. Special thanks must be mentioned to good friend Sherry McBeath and her visiting friend who helped pour drinks and assisted in countless ways, whose help was invaluable. Exhausting as this was to put together on such short notice it was a great success!

Mike Manhatton is the man in the light blue shirt, glasses and large smile in so many of these pictures. Very few of his coworkers knew he was a photographer before this event! This is remarkable since his pictures and his treatment of them via the software program called Adobe Lightroom is quite splendid.
